My quest to find pure love led me into three abusive Christian marriages ending in divorce. However, six years into my third abusive marriage, I began diligently studying God’s word to figure out how I kept being deceived about love. His Scriptures and truth began to speak to my heart and open my eyes to his exceptional love design.
Learning the Truth
Jesus showed me how my broken love design was formed, and the lessons I had learned about love, relationships, and abuse throughout my life. He revealed how my faith and walk with him had given me strength and wisdom. However, I hadn’t learned about his exceptional love design or how to live in it.
As I worked with Jesus and he brought healing. He gathered all the shattered shards of my heart and life and formed them into a masterpiece of stained glass. What I thought was unfixable and unlovable has become many stories other people can relate to who are searching for pure love.
Jesus has shown me how to share my lessons and revelations to help people see the only pure love we will ever find is in him. Jesus replaced feeling love-starved with streams of his unconditional love bubbling up in my heart and soul. He has transformed my broken love design into his, and now I know how to share it with you.
As I received all of his exceptional love and understood his love design, I could love others the way he loved me in healthy relationships. He helped me draw healthy boundaries as he did. My boundaries make sure the love I received from other people is based on his love design of respect, freedom, and responsibility.
Jesus is Waiting to Teach You
If you have struggled to feel truly loved, you are not alone. There’s nothing wrong with you. Don’t be fooled by the mind fog, confusion, and lies of the enemy that you’re not worthy to be loved. Christ’s death proves you are loved!
Don’t fall into the trap of asking yourself why you don’t feel loved, because you can’t find the answer in yourself. If you knew the answer, you would have found it. Instead, seek Jesus with all your heart. You will find his answers instead of keeping your focus on your pain. The devil loves to keep you focused on your pain and blind to Christ’s solution. Stop allowing him to deceive you and rob you from living in Christ’s exceptional love design.
To keep me moving forward through my faith, I have learned to ask Jesus to give me the wisdom to see what I need to learn; to know what I need to surrender; to discern what I need to leave with him; and how to help others who are stuck in their broken love design.
None of us can escape the fact that we will keep operating out of the imperfect love design we know until we learn and choose to operate in a different one. You can break free from the lies you believed about love in your old love design now that you are learning about Christ’s exceptional love design. You have the opportunity to work with Jesus and transform your broken love design into his.
Live in Christ’s Exceptional Love
Your love transformation with Jesus is a life-long process which requires you to live in a progressive personal relationship with him every day. As you walk out your faith, each lesson and revelation he brings you will transform another aspect of your broken love into his love. Hold onto his hand and let him guide you. He will transform you into his likeness and show you how to live in his exceptional love design as you seek him with your whole heart.
“I have loved you even as the Father has loved me. Remain in my love. 10 When you obey my commandments, you remain in my love, just as I obey my Father’s commandments and remain in his love. 11 I have told you these things so that you will be filled with my joy.
